The base of the Tattoo Care is comprised of certified organic olive oil, beeswax, and shea butter. The ratio of each ingredient has been carefully formulated to provide optimal moisture and healing properties while retaining a consistency that is comfortable to apply while tattooing or applying to a fresh tattoo.
The olive oil serves as the moisturizing base of the salve. It holds the herbal properties while allowing the skin to breathe, promoting quicker healing time.
The shea butter softens the skin as well as adding to the moisturizing constituents of the salve.
The beeswax thickens the salve and allows it to hold and somewhat "stick" to the skin so that it can hold over the sensitive area longer.
